• Schmidt’s in the German village is a hands down must go in Columbus, Ohio. I loved the German potato salad there. I think the buffet is worth it so you can try everything!
  • Stay near the Short North if you like nightlife
  • Visit bicentennial park for skyline city views of Columbus.
  • Pins Mechanical and Wolf’s Ridge Brewing are both fantastic places near downtown.
  • Wolf’s Ridge Brewing has a back side taproom with delicious food and it’s walking distance to Elevator Brewing and Pins Mechanical ( where you can play ping pong, duckpin bowling, big jenga, and get your drink on)
  • We also spent a few days by Easton mall. The area is beautiful with a lot of shopping. Inside the mall was a chain called BiBibop, a chipotle style Korean mixed rice place.
  • Piada (a chipotle style Italian place) and Himalayan Grille we’re both great too and in the same plaza.

I was amazed at how big all the plazas were. Huge empty parking lots to stores that were massive in square footage with so many cars in front of every complex.

The 1 hour drive to Hocking Hill state park was great if you have a day. There’s 2 waterfalls to see, cedar falls and Ash cave not too far from one another.
